It’s one of those expressions that has a literal, functional, institutional purpose, of course, but if you’re a daydreaming, poorly-focused sap like me, you can’t help but ascribe other meaning to the words. I really like when phrases like this pop out at you in the most unexpected places.

And we very much appreciate your patience in the long spells between posts. Damn, it’s work working for a living!
Plans are being realized, vicissitudes and setbacks are being dealt with, and there is even time for cookies.
We just wanted to let you know we’re still here and on the homestretch of finishing the tree house. BLUE OAK can’t wait to share some of the stories and methods that have come out of this project…
We’ll do our best to wade through the stuff that doesn’t count and keep our eyes on the stuff that does. Let’s make this a dialogue–help us keep it real!
We need to laugh at ourselves along the way…
and hopefully not miss the pissa things around us in the everyday.
